In the years leading up to “The Great War” (WWI), Culver became a leading light in the Prepardness movement and had a significant influence on the launch of programs like the ROTC.
Once America entered the war, Culver contributed enormously, and the even the campus itself was heavily shaped (physically and culturally) by the war and the array of related dignitaries who visited. Included in this collection are photos and writings which document those events, as well as Culver’s centennial observations up to and during the 2018-2019 school year.
